Water Treatment

Camp Manitou: Bay of Islands is committed to providing quality drinking water to campers. We have made significant investments since 2003 to meet and exceed Ontario drinking water regulations.

There are 5 Trained Persons who volunteer to operate the manitou water system.

The Ministry of the Environment is responsible for overseeing Drinking Water Regulations in the Province of Ontario, and as a designated facility, we are responsible for making drinking water information available to campers and the general public.
